Thank you to everyone who came to run in North America's largest orienteering event, and cheered for your favorite team to fight for the Björn Kellström and Future Champions Cups! The North American Orienteering Championships (NAOC) 2016 was a joint production of Dartmouth College and multiple Orienteering USA Clubs.

Results are posted on the Results page. Canada won back the Björn Kellström Cup, but Team USA retained the Future Champions Cup.

The Middle and Long venues were located within a few miles of Hanover, and the Sprint was right in downtown Hanover.

This biennial event is open to everyone, but only members of North American orienteering federations are eligible for NAOC medals, and the sprint relay is reserved for North American national team members. After battling it out over the four races of this event, the triumphant nation wins the Björn Kellström Cup, with the Future Champions Cup going to the winning junior national team.

NAOC 2018 will be hosted by the Yukon Orienteering Association in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, August 17-22, 2018.
