Come run in North America's largest orienteering event, and cheer for your favorite team to fight for the Björn Kellström and Future Champions Cups! The North American Orienteering Championships (NAOC) 2016 is a joint production of Dartmouth College and multiple Orienteering USA Clubs.

The Middle and Long venues are located within a few miles of Hanover, and the Sprint is in downtown Hanover.

Start times for registered competitors are posted.

Please plan to attend and help out if you can. Enjoy the orienteering — it should be great!

Registration information: Competitive entries last day to enter online is Friday, September 16.

We welcome newcomers and beginners! No pre-registration is required for recreational entries. Find out more about non-competitive entries here.

Please note that hunting season for archers began September 15 (deer and turkey); bear season opened September 1. It is unlikely we will see any hunters but be forewarned.

This event is open to everyone, but only members of North American orienteering federations are eligible for NAOC medals, and the sprint relay is reserved for North American national team members. After battling it out over the four races of this event, the triumphant nation wins the Björn Kellström Cup, with the Future Champions Cup going to the winning junior national team.

IOF Medals will be awarded to the top three seniors and juniors for each individual event. These are the M-21+, F-21+, M-20 and F-20 classes.
